Hotel Warszawa Art Fair is a unique showcase of contemporary art. Each of the invited Polish and international galleries curates its own exhibition, together creating a one-of-a-kind survey of dozens of works by both Polish and international artists. The Art Fair at Hotel Warszawa is also a platform for curators, critics, and the public to interact, exchange perspectives on art, and take part in discussions with leading artists and curators.
This is the first initiative of its kind in Poland. The idea of the fair draws inspiration from international art events organized in hotels, such as the Gramercy International Art Fair at the Gramercy Hotel in New York or the Felix Art Fair at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.
More information about the event and the artists can be found here
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Przemek Dzienis, Discord 1, photography, 2024
Przemek Dzienis
Born in 1984 in Łódź, he graduated in Photography from the Cinematography Department at the National Film School in Łódź. He creates works that are simple in form yet precisely composed, far from pathos and resistant to over-interpretation. His interests lie in sculptural forms, space, and the positioning of the human figure in relation to them.
Dzienis has exhibited his works in numerous art galleries in Poland and abroad — including in Warsaw, Poznań, Paris, Berlin, and Vienna. He has photographed for leading Polish magazines such as MaleMEN, Pani, Viva Moda, Kukbuk, and Wysokie Obcasy, and has also directed music videos for Natalia Szroeder, Brodka, Artur Rojek, and the duo Karaś/Rogucki, with these projects earning him multiple KTR awards. He is a two-time Fryderyk Award winner and has also been recognized with a Music Video Award.
As part of the fair, three previously unpublished works from Discord, a new series created in southern France, will be presented.

Agnieszka Mastalerz, Ὁδός (4), photography, 2025
Agnieszka Mastalerz
In her practice, she focuses on mechanisms of control and processes that influence and exploit the individual. She uses a poetic visual language to analyze restrictive rules established within intimate relationships, communities, states, or corporations, as well as in relation to the natural environment. She primarily works with video, often combining scientific imaging techniques with performative elements.
Agnieszka Mastalerz’s projects have been exhibited in Poland, Germany, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Kosovo, and Romania. She has been an artist-in-residence at the Museum Susch in Switzerland and at the European Investment Bank Institute in Luxembourg. Her works are included in several collections, a.a. the Fondazione In Between Art Film by Beatrice Bulgari.
At the fair, we will present works from the artist’s latest project Mould, which will have its full premiere during WGW+ at the Fort Institute of Photography. More about the exhibition here

Studio Prokopiou, Blind Ally, photography, 2020
Phillip Prokopiou
Phillip Prokopiou, based in London, was born in South Africa to a family of Greek immigrants. A self-taught photographer, he founded Studio Prokopiou in 2014 together with his life and artistic partner, Panos Poimenidis, who is of Greek origin. Their work explores self-creation and identity, drawing inspiration from art history, pop culture, and classical mythology, while also embracing camp aesthetics. The resulting images emerge from an ongoing dialogue between the duo and their subjects.
This year, Wet Paint, a book by Studio Prokopiou, was awarded the title of Photographic Publication of the Year 2025 at the Łodź Fotofestival. We will present it at the upcoming fair alongside a work titled Blind Ally.

Joanna Tochman, The swamp sucks you in, oil on canvas, 2020
Joanna Tochman
Her artistic practice encompasses painting, photography, and art objects. In her works, she moves along the boundary between the real world and imagination, exploring themes of space, landscape, places, and non-places.
She was a finalist of the Hestia Artistic Journey (2018), winner of the New Image New Look competition (2018), Grand Prix laureate of the Eibisch Competition (2019), two-time finalist of the Strabag Artaward International (2021, 2023), finalist of the Lublin Spring (2023), and recipient of the Young Space Award for Visual Arts Scotland (2022).
At the fair, we will present paintings from her series Computer Game Landscapes, as well as a photograph and a book from her latest project Sunspot, which premiered this April at the Fort Institute of Photography.
