KWADRA x Bownik and Kobusiński | Guided tour and discussion

"Kwadra" is not just a presentation of the works of four (debuting) creative individuals. It is also a unique masterclass exhibition.
Its preparation – from artistic concept, through production, promotion, and accompanying events – was part of the training of photography students at the Łódź Film School. The exhibition was created under the supervision of mentors and lecturers from the National Film School (PWSFTviT): Bownik and Szymon Kobusiński, and the artists realized their independent projects.
We invite you to a curatorial tour, during which we will learn the context and background of the presented projects, hear how new voices can be interpreted by experienced curators, and what the behind-the-scenes of such educational and artistic collaborations look like.
After the tour, we encourage everyone to participate in an open conversation about visual education: how to implement it and what challenges both educators and students face? How and what should we teach in creative fields?
We'll share our experiences and opinions in the FORT Institute of Photography space, over hot or cold (if summer decides to show up) beverages. If the conversation goes in a different direction, that's also great. With this meeting, we want to initiate a series of informal debates around photography, creating a space for exchanging ideas. And for pleasant get-togethers, as befits the holidays.
